Bog of Tricks Logo

Welcome to the latest installment of our Bag of Tricks! On some days you will find useful tricks, gimmicks and ideas here that can make life in Neverwinter Online easier. Some of the stuff should be well known, but since even veterans learn something new every now and then, chance is you can, too.

We know Fishing is boring, but we also know we need those Svardborg keys. What we didn’t know so far was how much Elk Tribe Support one catch is able to generate on average. We did track catches over an extended period of time and are now confident that this number can be set to around 17.

The image on the left shows a pretty common distribution when fishing with Krill. In that particular case 707 catches returned fish worth 12,275 Elk Tribe Support, 17.36 per catch. Here’s a full table:

[su_table]

Fish Amount %
 Tier 1  255  36.07
 Tier 2  186  26.31
 Tier 3  128  18.10
 Tier 4  94  13.30
 Tier 5  44  6.22

[/su_table]

This data suggests that one Svardborg key for the Elk Tribe chest requires 57 catches, not counting any Maps in a Bottle you might find.
