Bans, Restrictions For Players And Authors Of Farming Foundries

This is going on for quite some time now. We have confirmed bans for those that exploited farming foundries with the Dragon Hoard Enchantment and authors of such foundries are permanently excluded from publishing.

The range for the bans is one day for simply farming to permanent for exploiting the fact that death resets the timer on the Utility Enchantments. Most action seems to have come from a few popular foundries, while others are still up and running.

Since Cryptic/PWE are notorious for not putting solid research into a matter (and there are actually already reports from punished players that feel their foundries don’t meet what you would call a farming foundry), authors may want to take down and delete any foundry that theoretically could be abused or misunderstood by players. This includes all foundries that are named “farm”, no matter whether the title refers to a setting or the content, and also those that use the maximum allowed numbers of encounters, especially if the foundry is frequently played. What might sound funny is a necessary precaution to not get hit by restrictions for no reason.
Players meanwhile should avoid the foundry altogether and remove those quests from their log.
