Controversial Community Moderator lewstelamon01 Has Deleted His Last Post

After two years of service as Neverwinter Moderator and even more for other PWE games lewstelamon01 is no longer part of the Community team. He isn’t listed on the staff page any longer and his rank on the Arcgames Forum has been downgraded to a normal user. As highly active mod lewstelamon01 was one of the popular targets of censorship and over-moderation accusations and he indeed pedantically interpreted and aggressively enforced forum rules, making him as loved by the staff as hated by the players.

[su_quote cite=”lewstelamon01″ url=”http://perfectworld.vanillaforums.com/discussion/795151/please-allow-me-to-introduce-myself#latest”]As a member of the Moderator Team, I would like to let you all know that I strive to provide a fun and informative forum environment, while at the same time upholding forum rules and standards to see that it remains so.[/su_quote]

This seems to be an anticipated move, because PWE recently introduced two reddit moderators as additions to the team and we certainly hope they better understand serving the community and not the company. Wherever lewstelamon01 is blindly following rules and deleting posts these days, we won’t miss him!

I parsed the title as Lews’ final act as a moderator as literally deleting his last post, possibly for being an “I quit” message. But my brain is silly like that.

Yeah, saw the header and was hoping he flamed out spectacularly. He always was an ass.

On the other hand, he was just a volunteer and we ought to cut him a break. And he was part of the reason that this site had to exist. Hey, you should invite him to contribute a post to this blog!
