Fix to Masterwork Quests Incoming, Loadouts Still Work in Progress

On Mondays Community Manager Julia “nitocris83” usually sweeps through the forum for the weekly community report and comments on some issues and questions in the process. Yesterday was no different and we actually got some information on two lingering issues of Module 13. The first one is related to the broken Masterwork IV progression. Currently, you are unable to resolve the leveling quests for Masterwork IV Recipes. The quest requires players to gather certain Masterwork III items, but the game does not correctly detect when these items are in the inventory. As shown by player “adinosii”, the quest log doesn’t change although the correct armor piece was obtained.

A Fix Is on the Way

This is majorly annoying, but at least a fix will be released soon. It looks like the devs found the cause and already patched it internally. So it could make live as soon as Thursday. Unfortunately it’s not looking equally good on the loadouts front. The issue of not being able to switch loadouts in some cases, that haunts PC players for weeks now and also made it to consoles for their M13 launch, still seems to be causing headaches for the devs. As Julia confirmed, they have not quite found a solution as of right now.

    …i found that it was unequipped insignias that were no longer in a character’s posession that was stopping me from switching a loadout

    Clicking the “apply to all loadouts” fixed this for me on the 2 times it has happened!

    Loadouts can be a pain seems anytime i modify on of my 6 loadouts i can expect one of the others to bug so then i have to apply all mounts to all load outs and then waste more time switching the insignia bonuses back for each loadout and then hope that it works after all of that.

    Also i think part of the issue with loadouts is it can not identify one insignia from another. Like if you open a companion pack and receive a new insignia it will mark it as being used in a loadout even though you have just got it. Something tells me this plays a roll in why they are bugging maybe wanting to use the same insignia in to mount bonuses even though there might be more of the same ones to choose from.

    Well, regarding the MW bug, Terramak just said on Discord: “Gonna try to get a fix live on PC this Thursday and to Xbox / PS4 as soon as reasonably possible. (Emphasis on the “try” – there’s a reason I don’t usually give dates :P)”

    Find it intressting they pushed the patch this tuesday on consoles knowing it would break MC and at the time they had no fix for it and still went ahead. For a game fighting stronger competition by the day they sure do their best to crap on the players they still have.

    Regarding the MW bugg: this friggin thing is still not fixed on PS4. I mean, WTH Arc?? Slicky keeps on cashing in while others, including me, sit on their losses now. Great, just great…! How about a compensation?
