Welcome to the 25th installment of Monday’s Bag of Tricks! On some Mondays you will find useful tricks, gimmicks and ideas here that can make life in Neverwinter Online easier. Some of the stuff should be well known, but since even veterans learn something new every now and then, chance is you can, too.

Anybody who has gone through the Elemental Evil campaign at least once probably would like to never see repeatable quests again. But one particular category of Vigilance Tasks might still be of use to some toons: The Targets.

In all four of the Elemental Evil areas three quests are handed out that need players to kill boss mobs in different areas of the map. While it doesn’t make much sense going after them in the Drowned Shore and Reclamation Rock, because of the destinations and quest givers are spread out, you can quickly pick up and complete them in Spinward Rise and the Fiery Pit.

In Spinward Rise Pirri the Swift hands out all of the Targets and in Fiery Pits its either the first three of the six NPCs or the other ones, depending on the hour. Rotating the areas then is really quick and you can make use of switching instances to shorten travel times even more. Elemental Evil quests hand out the most gold of all repeatable quests and you can also try your luck for an Unified Element. As we’ve reported before in this format, Elemental Resources for quests get refreshed on completion so it’s actually best to complete the same ones over and over again.

Although the rewards might be of little use to most, it’s helpful to those looking for a good return of investment with their playing time.
