Neverwinter Community Watch

The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post. To make browsing through this massive list a little bit more convenient, we have categorized the posts and assigned platform icons where it makes sense. Here’s what happened during the last week:

These are our community updates for this week! In case you run a blog or channel or found a resource that frequently updates with new content about the game, don’t hesitate and contact us so we can monitor the site.

Thanks again for a great round up. I am particularly interested in the Druid as a new class (where the hell did I stash that Xvim set?)

I was also in PE when a new friend in-game started bemoaning the fact that he only did the Jubilee for the Icosahedral Ioun Stone to complete his collections and it wasn’t there! He already has all the others in the crate.

    He felt mightily miffed.

None of my characters in PE could even see the Thank You crate, but the one that farmed the event rode in from Whispering Caverns and there it was! But no amount of telling people to travel to a different Zone and back could stem the tsunami of moaning. And if someone asks me ONCE more if the bank slot token is bugged…

But what Sorcery is this!? Unused Protection Orders can be traded for a Black Opal!?

    DOH!

I could only get 6, and they were on characters that had quests to turn in from last year. In previous years, I foolishly farmed for silly things and did not grasp the benefit of following the Merchant. This year I did it semi-properly. But if I had done one quest once on other alts, I could have claimed a lot of Opals.

But I got 5 Coins, the Thank You crate, the Zen Freebies and about 600 or so Bounties with 1 Coal and 25 Pres Wards. The only problem now is deciding how to distribute the BtA loot among my characters.

With a nod to compulsive gaming being a mental illness, I got about 600 Bounties, a friend got more than 3,500! She’d set her character to follow with companion summoned, set a timer and cleaned her flat from top to bottom. But she took a week off work to do it, as it’s her favourite event and the only one she farms.

So she’s fine. Just a bit mad!
