Neverwinter Community Watch

The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post. Here’s what happened during the last week:

• This week’s wiki updates include additions to some professions: Weaponsmithing, Artificing, Platesmithing by user Hawchang.
• The Black Friday sale means there’s naturally more crying about lockbox RNG. Good news boys, we just made our RNG Toolbox available again even for unregistered players! Educate yourself and prevent disappointment!
• The same can be said about out Market Tools, which can solve any refinement question for you.
• The Winter Event Charge Promo is now officially on the calendar. Get excited!
• The customer service deservingly has a questionable reputation when it comes to actually, well… helping. But this user got a discarded Artifact back, which is great!
• Y’all Got an In-Game Wifey/Husby? <– interesting topic!
• With Double Refinement players should be able to clear their inventory, but the Storage Wars has to be addressed. A question related to that is what to do with overflow fish once the Elk Tribe support is maxed.
• A user suggested using the Star Trek Online system of using Gold as Auction House currency.

PC

• We already reported the latest promo error by PWE yesterday and game blog Neverwinter Thoughts is affected as well.
• Still a lot of talk going on by Warlock players that feel they got the short end of the stick with the class balance changes.
• Rogues are not impressed and claim they are the true bottom feeders.
• Do DPS classes have a better chance of getting the new Marks from Svardborg?
• Speaking about the new trial. Here’s a GWF POV video.
• In case you didn’t notice: Lanolin and Turtle Moult drop chances from HE’s have the tendency to annoy players.

Consoles

• Of course the Black Friday sales are also the main topic on consoles. On the GameFAQ board players are discussing ways to spend ZEN in several threads:

• Looks like the elite endgame guild “Look Good Play Good” has dropped the recruitment fee and is currently looking for 4k item level to join their ranks.

• Garlaanx in the meantime shared a Fangbreaker Island run and opened 1000 lockboxes!
