Neverwinter Weekender: The Cloaked Ascendancy is Looming on Consoles

weekenderlogoThe Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!

Get ready for the Cloaked Ascendancy!

The big thing on consoles this weekend is getting toons ready for Module 11: The Cloaked Ascendancy. That’s why the devs throw a Double Experience weekend at players that gets accompanied by a corresponding sale on the ZEN market. The new content is level 70, so if you want to participate you need to be maxed. For those that already owns an appropriate character there’s unfortunately nothing more other than anticipation. You could still use the experience to bring up alternate characters, level companions or grind power points from overflow rewards.

Get ready for Shroud of Souls!

PC in the meantime is getting the full stepchild treatment with Double Glory. It truly is the worst type of double weekend and should be run with the solo PVP queue. Otherwise not many players can profit from it. You can however use your free time to continue with the Portobello campaign. The third map “A Rock Falls” is now unlocked and its theme is… well, falling rocks! Also we’re sure not everyone has gotten the Beholder Tank so far. In case you’re really bored you can also visit the preview server. The next big update “Shroud of Souls” has been announced for May 2nd and the new stuff can already be tested there!

We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!
