Neverwinter Weekender: Glorious Resurgence on PC

weekenderlogoThe Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!

Waiting for Swords of Chult

Another busy week has passed, which means another busy weekend is ahead for players! Just in time for another lockbox outrage in the gaming world, PC players will be getting the Glorious Resurgence Lockbox back for a limited time. One MMO news site by the way even specifically included the lockbox as pictured example in their article. I guess that makes us famous…

The good thing about Resurgence is: It means that the countdown for Swords of Chult has officially begun! Resurgence will run until the new Lockbox of the Lost is introduced with the mid-module update on the 24th.

PC Players can also trade in their coffer donations for twice the Guild Marks and help progress their guild using a Stronghold sale.

Until October 22nd Neverwinter Uncensored will be hosting a social giveaway for a chance to win one of five Wizkids Promo Codes. Neverwinter and Wizkids have teamed up and included special promo codes in their exciting new figurine line, D&D Icons of the Realms: Tomb of Annihilation. If you’re not feeling like buying into the figurines, here’s your chance to get a code anyway!

Waiting for the Seal of the Brave Discount

Consoles are probably still two months away from Swords of Chult because of the usual licensing delay. Speaking of which, this also unfortunately prevents the devs from quickly fixing an issue with the current seal vendor sale. All seal costs are supposed to be cut in half for the weekend, but it’s not working for the Seal of the Brave. The devs are aware of it, but won’t be able to patch it in time. The other stores are working correctly, but obviously players anticipating the event have specifically piled up Seals of the Brave to buy their Primal Gear. For those the other ongoing stuff (companion ZEN sale and double Tyranny currency event) is probably just a cold comfort as well.

We hope you guys will nonetheless enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!

I’ve got both Glor Resurgence and Soulmongers lockboxes. Which lockbox offers the better chance for more valuable items?

If you want to open one of the two, then Resurgence. But try to buy Merchant Prince. They should be cheap on the Auction House.
