PWE Blacklists own Website, Bans Players for Linking

Players are reporting today that they got banned from the game by posting links to the official arcgames forum. The system informs players to have linked a “prohibited site”  and auto-bans the accounts. It looks like PWE has simply misconfigured its spam filters.

Next to the annoying nature for those that got hit it’s also bad timing. The first build of the new Mod Storm Kings Thunder just went on preview yesterday and quite a few players are linking to the feedback threads and patch notes.

The first players say they have been unbanned in the last minutes, but for now you should be hesitant to post any links ingame until there is official word that the issue is resolved.
