Sharpedge Has Lost Motivation, Hands Over Legacy

Today NWO:Uncensored salutes one of the prime theorycrafters of the game. Annoyed by the “Keygate” player Sharpedge has decided to leave the Sword Coast and hands over his legacy to anyone interested. Although the devs delayed the changes, he claims to have lost all motivation regardless. He originally only announced a break, but his latest comments indicate he’s gone for good cause he’s “been having fun in other games”. In the end Neverwinter might have not offered enough challenge and progression for such an endgame-oriented individual.

Sharpedge@thefabricant was a stellar contributor both to the community and the game, investigating and reporting tons of bugs. It’s safe to say he was the prime source of accurate and unbiased information. Continuing the long list of excellent Wizard theorycrafters, he wrote the most comprehensive guide to date, “Sharpedge’s ‘Almost Everything’ CW Guide”. He also was a regular on NWO:Uncensored, contributed to several dungeon guides and always was a very knowledgeable partner in any conversation.

We feel honored that he decided to make his guide available through us. We are hosting what he describes as “final” version although not all areas are completely finished and flourished. Whoever wants to continue his legacy has an excellent starting point with the presented research. On top of it it’s a recommended read for anyone interested in the game’s mechanics. While first and foremost a CW guide, there’s tons of general information in there.

MMOs are a constantly moving sphere. Players come and go, it’s nothing extraordinary. Nonetheless Sharpedge’s absence will surely be felt across all areas of the game, not just the Library. We’d like to thank him for the contributions to the community and the game. You can do so as well by visiting the official work appreciation thread on the official forums or leaving a comment below.

We are always looking for people that contribute to this blog. For more information contact us via or check the forum.

Damn Cryptic is turning this game into one of there boring ass Perfect World game. This game is fun until you have to do these boring ass dailies. I heard about keygate that will kill this game. Its bad when you buy keys only to get companion runes and exp but not tokens to upgrade. This is how they are ripping off the player base. I wonder if these people worked for Gpotato.
