Soshenstar River Achievements Guide

Neverwinter’s “Tomb of Annihilation” and its jungle theme sets a pretty heavy focus on exploration, at least compared to other modules. Hunting alone offers a massive amount of figuring out locations, and the Soshenstar River map has three achievements based on exploration as well.

  • “Oh, my!”: Defeat a lion, a tiger, and bear in Chult
  • “Scrying Chult”: Find all thee Scrying Stones in Chult
  • “Jungle Sahha”: Find all the Sahha balls in Chult

In this guide we are going through all the locations you need to complete the three achievements and will add a few notes as well.

Oh, my!

For “Oh, my” you need to kill a tiger, a lion and a bear. Tigers are easy to spot as they are regular around the path when you enter the zone. Lions and bears however apparently tend to hide inside bushes in Chult. So you might not actually stumble over them while doing other stuff. Both mobs spawn at the same locations, which one is random though. Overall the lions are a little more common than the bears. If you want the achievement I’d just visit the spots on your daily routine. You’ll find both mobs and complete the achievement eventually.

Scrying Chult

Of course Chult offers your regular Scrying Achievement as well. The first one is located on top of the statue in Camp Righteous. You need to climb it using its tail on the right side and it can be a bit tricky to get all the way up there. The second one is located at Mbala on a tree branch and the third one on the right side between a tree and ruins when you enter the Yellyark Batiri territory using the small bridge on the north part of the river.

Jungle Sahha

For whatever reason Sahha balls made it to Chult and are scattered around the map. Most balls are easy to spot if you know the locations, but two of them are hidden rather well. I’ve attached pictures that should make it easy to get these as well.

The first one is the one in the center of the map right at one of the T-Rexs’ spawn locations. You need to climb the little hill there where it’s hidden behind a tree branch. The one at the Yellyark ruins is in a corner on the right side.

Very cool. Appreciate all the effort! Are the blue flowers mappable? Or are they too random?

They are mappable, but there are like a gazillion spots. Another difficulty is that not all nodes are active at the same time. They work like Relics or Black Ice where a farmed node brings up another random one. So getting all spots would require to continuously cycle and farm a map.
