Unblogged Wisdom Checks: What’s Your Favorite Seasonal / Yearly Event?
The Summer Festival that currently runs on all platforms is one of the big seasonal / yearly events in Neverwinter. The fact that it comes with its own instance and runs for three full weeks should already indicate that it is bigger than other events. As such it usually hands out more and more meaningful rewards than those that regularly rotate over the weekends. This year’s Summer Festival unfortunately hasn’t been updated as the devs have trouble finding time for it, but as currently constructed it still offer many incentives for veterans and new players alike.
The Summer Festival however is not the only event that only rolls around once per year. So in the week’s poll, we’d like to know what your favorite seasonal / yearly event is. Do you like throwing water balls, or prefer riding your sled in the town of Simril? Or something completely different?

Share your opinion by taking part in our poll! You can also detail your thoughts on our social channels, in the comments below, or the corresponding thread on our message board! Also, here are the results of last week’s poll, in which we wanted to know whether bans on message platforms should extend to ingame accounts as well.

We are currently especially looking for console and PVP content, but that’s not exclusive. There is no frequency requirement, you post how often you want.
Originally it was Summer Festival when it was worth farming Pinata and food buffs. I still have 200 on about half a dozen toons from the first Summer Festival. I still can’t do the ball game properly, and I wasted 4 balls on a practice character yesterday following the Summer Festival blog advice solo. Only one ball actually got stuck under the bridge, and I ended up with only 13 copper tickets from 4 balls. So I think that fashion is out of reach.
Then it was the Siege when we could use the artifacts as feeders. Plus we can get Stronghold Vouchers.
Then it was Winter Festival when I worked out how to do it efficiently on multiple toons. But the scammers wrecked it, so I still have a load of Gifts in the bank.
But this year was the first time I fully grasped the value of following that merchant, so Jubilee it is. Coupled with VIP 25% plus WB 15% discount and a 25% discount coupon that lasts 30 minutes, I can get a year’s worth of Marks at 65% off. Plus BoP Pres Wards and Coal Wards from the Merchant, and a 40% sale in the Zen Market. So save that AD for a couple of months beforehand.
Lliira is a complete waste of time and Masquerade is not much better.
