Yes, the cooldown on my two favorite flowers was increased. I actually was surprised to see them with the reduced cooldown when the event launched this year, because I thought they had nerfed it at some point last year. But my memory is not the greatest regarding this (and many other things). It takes a bit longer now to make balls, which doesn't matter too much to me, but I can see how those running multiples might be a bit bent over it.

Seems to me like the respawn time of said flowers varies alot over the day. I heard there might be some kind of reset mechanic, that the flower respawns on your instance when another player on another instance where the flower is available picks it up.

whatever it is, as of yesterday standing and farming one set of flax is no longer efficient. Have to run around the map picking flax. Getting my plant based Omega-3s just got a little more tedious.

Yes, sometimes respawns seem about the old timing, sometimes they're very long.

Still beats playing Sahha.

Cooldown is erratic, and seems to vary by instance #. You absolutely can still farm the two flowers that are right side by each, but not in every instance. This doesn't seem to be a by-design thing at all. Just weirdness. People complained about the exact same thing last year. I don't think it's been nerfed, or even touched. It just doesn't behave consistently.

I have the best luck with fast repawns if the Summer Feast event is running (still not 100% reliable), which spans 10 to the hour until 5 after. No contest at all is ok. Other contests might interfere.

The group of four to the east side of the map respawns quickly.

I think if you're in an instance where the respawn timer is slow, it'll be like that for every clump of flax. If the timer is ok, it doesn't matter which clumps you check on, as long as you have two within a few steps of each other you can be done in under 2 minutes.

The famous pair seem permanently disabled for me on the couple of characters I am doing it on (2 different accounts). The other four I spoke of above are always there. Weird.
