Welcome to the tenth installment of Monday’s Bag of Tricks! On some Mondays you will find useful tricks, gimmicks and ideas here that can make life in Neverwinter Online easier. Some of the stuff should be well known, but since even veterans learn something new every now and then, chance is you can, too.
The new Strider Mounts are cool, faster and can attack. Therefore the demand is high as well as the prices. As a general rule of the thumb, prices settle the longer a lockbox is live and then rise again after retirement. So it’s wise to wait a little longer especially since the ZAX has a sizeable backlog again, which also increases AD values of ZEN market items. The price development of the Bulette Mount is pretty characteristic to name only one example.
But this isn’t so much about market expertise, but more about the fact that the Strider Mounts are the first of a new line of mounts that give stats and additional abilities. It’s likely there will be other mounts coming up with different powers. For PVP Movement is a very handy stat, but completely useless in PVE. Maybe wait for a mount that gives, +Power, +Critical Strike?
It’s a bit speculative, but they might even update all previous mounts at some point like they’ve done with companions and their active bonuses.
