Neverwinter Community Watch

The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post. Here’s what happened during the last week:

• No dev blog posts this week, but the Cloaked Ascendancy has been announced for Feb 21st.
• Here are some confirmed drops from the Dread Legion skirmish. Pretty cool, but also pretty low drop rates. On the Subreddit there is a related discussion about Companion drop locations.
• As you might know we reported last week that Nova’s Youtube channel was MIA. Well, he is back and posted a diss track aimed at his haters. The response didn’t take long either. The drama is real fellas!
• Hold on, we have more. Garlaanx vs. Reddit!
• MMO Play released a very basic guide on the game’s Mounts and Companions.
• Watch out! Apparently not following the current meta and using Bondings can lead to this.
• Are Templocks a thing? This user certainly doesn’t think so.
• The French Community Team is currently recruiting a moderator.
• Ace_killa_q salutes the Guardian Fighter as the best class in the game. Others agree but would like to see a nerf.
• Double Refinement is around the corner, so we have a lot of basic questions about how to maximize the event:
  • Is using feeder artifacts better or using r4 and r5 stacks?
  • Best way to farm RP?
  • How should I sell Lesser Thaumaturgic Stones in the Trade House?
  • Artifact feeders pc
  • x2 RP what’s best to invest in now ?
• On the subreddit players are discussing how much they’ve spent on the game so far.
• Before you complain about useless legendary ring drops, look at this bad streak.

PC

• A “Play with the Devs” took place on Friday and the official twitter account posted some pictures.
• The first completions of the new Master Spellplague are in. Kali Gold also uploaded a short intro on the new dungeon and has a general prep guide for you.
• Users updated the official wiki with the first Module 11 info as well.
• Mod 11 PSA: underdark rings not proccing on companions anymore..

Consoles

• Look Good Play Good should be closing in on GH20. Congrats!
• On Monday the PS4 servers went down briefly. Might have been an attack.
• Not everybody seems to get the new binding status of some items.
• In case you didn’t already know: SNK o Elzy explains how to get the Epic Fishing Rod and Khyek.
• Both Garlaanx and TTGHD added Svardborg coverage to their channels.
