Neverwinter Weekender: Mr. Snibbly is back
The Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!
Mr. Snibbly is back
On Thursday one of the major events in Neverwinter started on PC. The Day of the Dungeon Master is the game’s tribute to its pen-and-paper origin and particularly Acquisitions Incorporated. In case you’re unfamiliar with it you can get the latest AI live show from PAX East here. The franchise also started a spin-off called the “C-Team” recently. In Neverwinter the event is all about giving players that tabletop feeling by quite literally putting them on top of tables as miniature statuettes. You’ll be part of adventures with Portobello “Chris Perkins” DaVinci, Flabbergast and his cat Mr. Snibbly.
In the month-long and fun-first event players can progress through two special campaigns that you find at the bottom of the Sword Coast Chronicle campaign window. Respen’s Marvelous Game includes the two original maps of the format while Portobello is a full blown campaign that runs across four weeks and has to be done on the Burrow Dawn Inn event map. For additional information (also on how to get that Beholder Personal Tank), please refer to our earlier write-up about the Day of the Dungeon Master:

One major annoyance for those that already have partially completed the campaign is the fact that you might not be able to start accumulate Adventuring Accreditation right from the start. The same gates from last year are active again. Meaning you can not go over 100 Accreditation in week 1, not over 200 in week 2 etc. So if you already have over 300 Accreditation, you won’t be able to start the event before week 4. It’s a bug however and already looked into, so you might not actually be locked out that long.
Seals and Sales
In the meantime Waukeen is sharing her blessings with console players over the weekend. Xbox and PS4 are also getting a key sale on top of the Mount one that everyone has. The event schedule is completed with a Double Seals weekend. It’s a bit more standard procedure here for the console crowd, but the Day of the Dungeon Master is on a different rotation and as yearly event ran in September. So you guys have a little longer before you are going to meet Mr. Snibbly again!
We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!
