Neverwinter Weekender: Tymora’s Gift and a Mysterious Event Choice
The Neverwinter Weekender is our brand-new weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!
Winter Festival Aftermath
Sure you guys still are in the process of reshuffling your inventories and sorting out what you’ve got from the Winter Festival. As general hint you want to hold onto those unbound items until the market has recovered. This is unfortunately unlikely to happen for the green and blue Companions in any reasonable time, if at all, but major rewards like the Gond Mount or the Forgehammer should return more AD in a few weeks. Even though prices of most of the rewards have crashed, the Winter Festival is still very much one of the more profitable event.
Tymora’s Gift
Generally this weekend is a bit less intriguing in terms of events, but players might need a short break anyway after the long Winter Event to get back to their regular stuff. Tymora’s Gift is a classic farm event. It unfortunately has lost a lot of it’s value, but still offers some minor rough AD. We wouldn’t recommend farming, but the Gifts that drop along the way are a nice sweetener while doing dailies.
The Double Enchantment event is also probably a tad too close to the last one for players to profit. But since you are currently burning through all your keys with the Dungeon Loot changes on PC, dungeons like Castle Never get a nice upgrade. On consoles where you can still peek into chests, Orcus is probably also getting more visits than usual.
Mysterious Crystal Charger?
A little bit more irritating is the choice to run the Charger event right after they dropped from Gifts. They are going for a lot less than the price on the Bazaar, the event makes zero sense at this point. This is probably an oversight or the devs don’t really care in their attempt to bolster the schedule.
We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board! We are currently especially looking for console and PVP content, but that’s not exclusive. There is no frequency requirement, you post how often you want.
It was the same on Xbox last year. The Winter Event dropped (like this time) Alchemist Experimenters and Mysterious Eggs by the bucket load. Then they ran Egg event just after selling the egg for 800k in the WB when the chicken was much less in the AH. Same with Alchemy event. No one bothered with it.
