Former Cryptic Dev Amenar Stops By, Cheers at October Bugfix Thread
Yesterday a familiar face was seen on the official Arcgames forum. Former Senior Designer Chris “Amenar” Matz, who had been with the studio for seven years before leaving Cryptic last August, stopped by and cheered to his former colleagues in the October Bugfix Thread.
The post was caught by our dev tracker and we even briefly thought Amenar might be back. He however mentioned his wrong status and the employee tag was removed later. Anyway, it’s good to see some former devs checking on the game!

October Bugfix Thread
The current devs have their hands full with the October Bugfix Thread in the meantime and actually already went to work. Here is what has been fixed:
- The “Bloodtheft” FX was removed from the Displaced Fate boon.
- The Guardian Fighter feat Jagged Blades has been fixed to correctly trigger on any power that targets and damages a foe.
- Daunting Light can now correctly hit all targets on all terrain.
It might not blow you away, but it’s a promising start, right? We’ll continue to monitor the event as the month progresses.
