Neverwinter Community Watch
The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post. Here’s what happened during the last week:
- We might get used to the report spam system being exploited. Apparently a group is able to repeatedly enforce a 24-hour ban onto any player. Ouch!
- Our video wizard JayAgeDee was at it again and released one of his wonderful scenic masterpieces. This time he features the Storm Kings Thunder zones.
- The Dracolich at PWE HQ is ready for the Winter, are you?
- The Black Friday ZEN sales ended one hour too early and of course players go bananas about that on Arcgames and the official subreddit.
- Others were smarter, bought earlier and shared their new stuff.
- Need a little help on which Utility Enchantments to slot? Read this!
- New-ish players can look up this thread on the subreddit for a random list of helpful hints.
- This is a completely new story perspective on the situation in Lonelywood. Are heros really the good guys?
- The Gateway lives on in our memory, and apparently also in some blog posts that just carelessly have been copied and pasted…
- PWE has sent out surveys to some players asking for their experience with lockboxes.
- Garlaanx and DEATHGUN GAMING have you covered on Storming the Keep! Unfortunately there’s a nasty bug with the scaling system so lower levels aren’t brought up to level 60…
PC
- After the unintended nerf to ItC, NWOHACKANDSLAH adjusts to life without it. They also blogged about Enchantments.
- Shintar of Neverwinter Thoughts in the meantime had some fun with PVP bots.
- Looks like the new Overcharge Bonus is a little hard to handle for some players. Its activation is indeed weird as mechanic.
- The Yogscast Jingle Jam 2016 Humble Bundle Pack contains an Enthusiast Pack plus exclusive in-game title. Need to contribute 30$.
- Several of those were already raffled away on reddit. Thanks to the donators and congrats to the winners. Might be worth monitoring the reddit, because similar giveaways could pop up.
- GWF Lia Knowles shows offs a Master Svardborg run.
- Anticipating the upcoming changes to the DC, the community throws in their suggestions.
- Player @diogene0 shared his in-depth thoughts on Sea of Moving Ice in this thread.
- Most DPS Scourges are Fury nowadays, but one players makes a case for Damnation also being pretty strong.
- Others think the SW is fucked however and cannot compete on the DPS meters.
Consoles
- Xbox guild Emotionelss hit GH20 this week. Congrats!
- Looks like Masterworks on Xbox is so competitive that some players feel the need to bully others into leaving the market.
- We know players can solo T2 content by now, but doing it at 2,000 item level without a companion is new.
- Looks like cartels might be moving their money laundering to the Sword Coast if trading ADs for ADs becomes a thing.
- On the GameFAQ PS4 board there was a lot of talk about classes this week:

That thread by Weaver LMAO First off he tried to make a zerg channel in zone chat by posting the same info over and over the dummy banned himself from auto chat mute. Second i have to stick by saying dummy i joined his zerg channel just to see what he had going only to get kicked the next day because because i made a comment in zone chat about how moronic it is to have a 100K voninblod cap. After that i was afk for a short bit to return seeing him PM me saying i was the moron for not using it .Kicked and ignored from him before i could even reply. Like really i was saving it up for weapons at to farm Svardborg when it launched. Yet i did not need the channel “have had a much better channel since mod 5” anyways but good way to attempt to run one.
