Neverwinter Community Watch

The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post. Here’s what happened during the last week:

PC

• It has been a busy week for PC gamers. The key changes were rushed to live due to tight scheduling and not everyone was pleased. It’s a truly mixed bag depending on your play style. Kali Gold’s final statemant: It’s not all bad.
• Several threads talk about success stories or frustration with the new loot system. Some even want to crowdsource data, others simply like the changes!
• Also: The best keys to farm!
• The Legendary Dragon Key was announced to be reduced in price with the key changes, but it didn’t happen.
• Associated bug reports and misunderstandings:
  • Campaign keys not working in KR
  • Shard of Permafrost – Cooldown bugged
  • No gear chest in FBI
  • Keys disappearing
  • Black Ice Treads not working correctly
  • Issues with keys in guild banks
• Then the first build of a new expansion went on preview on Friday. Official feedback threads are up for general features and Weapon Enhancement changes.
• Kali Gold was all over the changes as he previews the new skirmish and returning Spellplague Caverns. Other Youtubers like Nova or Irfaan Khan talked about the upcoming features as well.
• Sorry guys, the damage of Shadow Demon pet was nerfed 🙁

Consoles

• PSA: The key changes will come to the consoles with the Sea of Moving Ice update on Tuesday.
