Neverwinter Weekender: Things Slowing Down Before Jubilee

weekenderlogoThe Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!

Everyone Waiting for the Jubilee?

A week before the start of the Neverwinter anniversary festivities, that includes a flurry of events and discounts, the schedule noticeably takes a short break. All platforms get Double Currencies, PC for Icewind Dale, consoles for Sharandar. This should help players that are currently trying to complete the campaigns or even encourage others to bring alternate toons through it. Even with the additional currency in Icewind Dale we do still not recommend going through the grind. The best option remains doing the dailies for reputation and buy the other currency with Genie’s Gifts. It’s quite the opposite to Sharandar where during an event weekend it makes tons of sense to do as many quests as possible.

We also continue our advise to be cautious with sales these days as the Jubilee will most likely offer better ones. As always in anticipation of a module release, consoles get Double Experience since “Shroud of Souls” will hit on Tuesday.

Watch the Preview!

PC players might want to watch the preview server today. The first patch for the new “Tomb of Annihilation” module 12 could be uploaded later tonight. It sounded like only a last-minute issue prevented it to happen last week. Also the first dev blogs are up, which is another sign we’re really close to a PTS release.

We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!
