Neverwinter Community Watch
The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post. Here’s what happened during the last week:
- The community mourns the loss of 18-yr old gamer. That’s too goddamn young. RIP.
- The Mysterious Merchant continues to be a mystery for Cryptic. Julia posted an update that’s supposed to be a workaround to the merchant handing out the same gear every time, but it still doesn’t seem to be working. In the meantime guilds continue to burn resources…

- The weekend professions promo is pretty much a scam!
- Neverwinter Uncensored regular dupeks created a massive reference guide for aliases and keybinds. Make sure to check it out!
- Two dev blogs about the upcoming Tomb of Annihilation module this week:
- The new Tomb of the Nine Gods dungeon got unlocked on preview. The first teams beat the dungeon and uploaded boss videos: Avatar of Orcus – Whiters – Ras Nsi (footage from Northside/Unforgiven)
- Notable changes and clarifications on the preview server:
- The new “topple” effect now works differently and can no longer be pierced by high amounts or Armor Penetration.
- The new module features more unavoidable damage sources. Meaning immunity frames such as dodge don’t prevent the damage.
- The upcoming changes to PVP piercing damage developed into a hot topic. Some TRs think they got the short end of the stick. On the contrary: People who think TR is bad compare to other class think again.

- Grab a free Azureous Lion Mount from PlayStationLifeStyle. It’s first come first serve though and the promotion is already running for a few days. So there might not actually be codes left.
- You can also win a Cerulean Unicorn here!
- Also make sure to stop by the Driftwood Tavern Community Stream regularly as those Lion Mounts are also handed out there.
- On PS4 players were locked out of buying keys for a short period. The issue has since been resolved.
